Galaxy box had been selling their projectors for a few months now and were doing most of their advertising on tiktok and instagram. Naturally, they needed a website to sell these projectors from that would be simple and mobile friendly.
Galaxy box needed a simple, mobile-friendly design that would have a high conversion rate. Seeing as almost all of their traffic was coming from mobile devices to begin with, it was extremely important to design the site around that.
Electing to keep the design to a one page scroll massively simplified the user experience. In addition, I used images inline with text that would be easy for the client to replace, as well as "Shop Now" buttons scattered throughout to optimize conversion rate.
Since the store owner is re-using content from instagram, I added a gallery the bottom showing all the latest Instagram posts. This creates an even stronger sense of brand identity and security.
The client now has a store that is easy to maintain and update according to their existing instagram content without much effort in resizing or creating new images to fit the website.
Having a website not only helps improve branding, but assists with back-end work like handling invoices, sales, and being able to capture analytics that can be used to implement conversion strategies like AB Testing. All from the comfort of the Spotify platform.
